All the local stores sell is 55w bulbs for about $40 a pair. At half the price this is a great deal. Hella bulbs also seem to last longer and be better made than some brands. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a 100w H3 bulb.

Sylvania 7506LLBP Long Life Bulbs Review

(More customer reviews)I have a 3002 VW Passat Wagon, the Sylvania manual in the store says that takes a 7225 dual filament bulb which makes sense since it is a combined brake and running light. Amazon says it takes this 7506 which the Sylvania web site says is a single filament bulb. I just fitted two 7225s to my car, so I think Amazon is wrong.
I still gave this four stars because they are good when you get the right model. Just beware what you believe.

I wanted a real deep yellow for my fog lights and these look more like a light-yellow color. Still very good bulbs and very bright. They light the road nicely, and I can see way better with them for sure. Wish they were deeper yellow is all.

(More customer reviews)The Sylvania XV H7 bulbs have a nice full-spectrum white color, no yellow or obvious blue tint and a good pattern in my projector lamp vehicle. They are subjectively brighter (maybe 10% brighter) than the OEM bulbs. I purchased them to replace a previous set of Slyvania Silver Star bulbs that only lasted 330 hours. Hopefully, the 850 hour rating will result in longer life in my (daytime running light) car. I loved the very bright Silver Stars, but don't like having to change bulbs every 6 months.

(More customer reviews)i have the bulbs installed in a 2005 maxima 3.5sl. they replaced the oem bulbs (sylvania) because one of them failed to illuminate which lasted 6 years and 1 day, typical bulbs last 5 years. i would recommend using these bulbs especially if you have a hard to reach or in my case have to disassemble the front end to replace. this bulb will also be much brighter than the blue or purple bulbs on the market and more reliable as well. make sure not to touch the glass but if you do touch the glass do not clean the glass as the coating could get damaged. always replace these bulbs in pairs not only will it look hideous if you do not but they tend to fail around the same time.
the packaging from amazon could have been better and may have caused the damage to the manufacturers packaging with plastic prongs that broke in the packaging causing one of the HIDs to be loose in the package. no damage was caused to the product.

In any case, I went through 3 sets of SilverStar headlights in a little over a year, it was insane. I got these for $18 for a pair here at Amazon, and they've been going strong for nearly a year - much better than the Silverstars. The brightness seems comparable to them as well - definitely a big improvement from the stock bulbs.

It dim and it's yellow. We have been using the Ultra for 3 years now, and prefer them over the OEM and the regular Silverstars. (More customer reviews)put a set of these in my girlfriend's 2003 ford focus after trying out some piaa blue bulbs (which got good reviews but didn't really put out much more light than her stock bulbs), these philips bulbs are the real deal no gimmicky color just tons of useful light it's at least double the light output of the stock focus bulbs and about 50% more than the piaa bulbs that I had previously put in. over all these are definitely worth it the length of light has doubled over stock and there is a ton more side coverage as well.

(More customer reviews)On the positive side, the case has a nice collapsible handle and the corner locks close with a positive snap. It also has clear covers for both sides so you can see which side to open in advance.
On the negative side, they leave you with a stack of inserts that you can't just snap off, because there is a residual piece that needs to be cut off. Also they put the residual on the active slide side, so you have to trim it smooth. Not much thought put into that.
I filled the box with screws, bolts, nuts, nails and hooks. When I took it out for the first time, every bin was cross-contaminated with other parts! It was a mess! The cover is so flexible and thin that small parts fall into other bins when the box is stood up. Might as well just put them in a suitcase. For my purposes, I am returning it.
