(More customer reviews)i have the bulbs installed in a 2005 maxima 3.5sl. they replaced the oem bulbs (sylvania) because one of them failed to illuminate which lasted 6 years and 1 day, typical bulbs last 5 years. i would recommend using these bulbs especially if you have a hard to reach or in my case have to disassemble the front end to replace. this bulb will also be much brighter than the blue or purple bulbs on the market and more reliable as well. make sure not to touch the glass but if you do touch the glass do not clean the glass as the coating could get damaged. always replace these bulbs in pairs not only will it look hideous if you do not but they tend to fail around the same time.
the packaging from amazon could have been better and may have caused the damage to the manufacturers packaging with plastic prongs that broke in the packaging causing one of the HIDs to be loose in the package. no damage was caused to the product.

PIAA 94055 Silicone Wiper Blade Refill - 22" Review

(More customer reviews)I don't write many reviews, but since I'm a big fan of Amazon, and it seems to have become one of the best repositories of product reviews on the internet, I decided to share my experiences with PIAA silicone wiper blade refills, and my solution to fitment problems.
I think PIAA silicone wiper blade refills are the best, and Amazon has a fair price (gotta love the free shipping too!). I had previously replaced my trucks wiper blades with PIAA silicone refills from Amazon, without event. They fit perfectly and work great.
So naturally, when the time came to replace my '06 Honda Odyssey's wiper blades, I turned to PIAA silicone refills from Amazon. The sizes specified by the "Find Parts That Fit Your Vehicle" finder within Amazon (and on PIAA's website too) are the 22" 94055 and the 26" 94065. Unfortunately, when I tried to install them, I discovered to my dismay, that the 22" blade is too narrow for my Odyssey's passenger side wiper claw. The problem is that on my Odyssey, the claw width for both the driver side and passenger side wipers is 5/16 inch. What Amazon doesn't tell you, but I eventually thankfully discovered at [...], is that the PIAA 15" - 22" silicone blade refills are 1/4" (6mm) wide, while the 24" - 28" blades are 5/16" (8mm) wide.
I was about to return everything and choose another brand of wipers, when the thought came to me that all I need to do is just order a 24" blade and use a Dremel to cut 2" off to use instead of the too narrow 22" 94055. The driver side 26" blade fits great without modification.
Interestingly, my other car, my '04 Acura TL, has a wider 5/16" claw width for the longer 26" driver side blade, and a narrower 1/4" claw width for the shorter 19" passenger side blade, so the PIAA blades work perfectly for it.
So make sure you measure your current wiper blade lengths and widths before ordering these otherwise great wiper blade refills!

Silblade Uni UB126, Hybrid Silicone Wiper Blade 26" Review

(More customer reviews)This is based on my 2007 Accord so your experience may differ. This 26" blade fits on my car's driver side and it clears the windshield very well. There are times after I wash my windshield with these that it looks like my windshield is not there. If you have an 2003-2007 Accord, get these instead of the Silblade Flexblade because the Flexblades don't conform to the windshield as nicely as these Uniblades.
The only problem is that the bottom two inch of the blade does not make good contact with the windshield on the upstroke. This leaves smears along that area as the wiper is going up, but on the way down it gets cleared out. Really odd phenomenon and a bit annoying.
Still waiting to see if the blades actually lasts years instead of months like the manufacturer claims.

(More customer reviews)Replacing D1S bulbs these days reminds me of what it was like to get disk brakes repaired 30 years ago: it's newer technology, many folks have no experience yet, thus there is fear. We later found disk brakes to be simpler to repair than shoe brakes, and the rest is history. The point is, the built-in HID headlight system is so complex that when a bulb blows, the failure can send all sorts of mortifying messages to the information display, or the dashboard, making you think you have to go to the dealer and spend five hundred dollars getting your HID system reconfigured, or some other such idiocy. The only trick at all to replacing these bulbs is the matching of the color. HID bulbs come in colors rated 4100º, which is somewhat yellowish, all the way up to about 16,000º, which is very purple, and not good at all for normal driving purposes. The most normal of the choices seems to be about 4,300º, which is almost yellow, to about 6,000º, which is what they call "bright white." Probably the best thing to do is to just replace two bulbs at a time. It also seems the color shifts as the bulbs age, making it a little tougher to match colors based on a number. These bulbs seem to be in the 4100º area. I'm not sure, and this seller didn't indicate in his item description what the color temperature is. This bulb does not match my other bulb at all, so I may end up buying a second one just so the car looks normal. The neighborhood retailers all want about a hundred and thirty dollars for D1S bulbs, apiece, so even with this additional purchase, I'm still ahead. Installation took a few minutes. I opened a protective cover on the back of the headlight assembly. This is about 4.5 inches in diameter, and rotates a few degrees to unlock, then just pulls out and gets set aside. Inside, there is a square housing, which is the base of the bulb, held in place by a spring clip. Unlatch this, back out the bulb, disconnect the wire connector from the bulb, and put the old bulb out of the way. Then move the new bulb partially into the assembly. Be very careful not to get any finger oil on the glass. Reattach the wire and slide it home. Latch the spring clip back into place, put the lid back on, and you are done. If you really want to feel good, call a Mercedes dealer and ask how much to replace an HID bulb. Then figure what you just saved yourself. You should then be able to justify going out for a very nice burger and a few beers to use up the hours you just didn't waste sitting in a waiting room to get skinned. I put mine in a few hours ago. I have no idea how long it will last, or if my car will burn to the ground the next time I turn on the lights. But right now, I know I saved about $244.00 at the SAAB thief, and I'm spending the saved time eating a nice lasagna with my wife.
