These came with no instructions and I could not figure out how to keep them clipped in. They just would not stay. I finally used zip ties to keep them in place. They work fine otherwise.

(More customer reviews)With the rain season coming, I wanted to change out the wiper blades on our family cars. To my surprise, none of the local auto shops (Pep Boys, Auto Zone, Wal-Mart, etc.) had only blade refills. Instead of buying a $6 set of refills (usually 2 in a pack), they were FORCING us to buy an entire wiper blade and frame at $20 - $30 per! Outside of the waste of having to toss a good wiper frame away, this was crazy to spend 10X more or $60 per vehicle just for a the rubber refills.
I searched Amazon and they came to the rescue with the standby Anco blade refills. I have purchased a small stock pile to cover the four family vehicles, each Amco blade refill coming with two blades. All work outstanding and the total cost to maintain all of our family vehicles cost half than for doing only one car with what was offered locally. Save you money and buy the Anco blade refills, at least for 3 - 5 years worth before changing out the entire frame.

I used to by the blade refills for a couple dollars a pair, anywhere, everywhere. now, you can't find a pair of refills to save your life. Instead you have to buy an un-needed carrier to get a single blade. WTF?

(More customer reviews)I bought these to replace old wiper blades on my Sportstrac. They installed easily. About two weeks after they installed the end of one of the blades popped away from the windshield causing it to miss about a 6" path. I was able to lift the blade and drop it back onto the windshield which caused it to form to the windshield again. A few days later it happened again while I was driving. I've also driven with these blades in subfreezing temperatures and they easily build up with ice causing them to be completely ineffective. During one 300+ mile trip I had to stop three times to break off the buildup of ice. I've never had any of these issues with other wiper blades. I wont buy them again.

(More customer reviews)I have purchased at least six of these wipers in different sizes. All have failed within a month of use. There is a defect in the design. They work excellently when new. Then the glue fails that attaches the rubber wiper to the blade. The attachment depends entirely on the bond of the glue. There is nothing else keeping the rubber wiper attached to the metal blade. Bosch has a similar item but their wiper fits into a groove on the blade. I bought those. So far so good but it is really too early to tell. This flexible blade type of wiper blade works great. Unfortunately, the Innovision blade promises much more than it can deliver. Save your money.

If you know what you're doing, these are a piece of cake. They will work. Now not all blades are created equal. Some are better than others. It all depends on the climate you live in. For heavy wind, snow, sleet, and rain, you should consider something made from silicone by Rain-X 5079275 Latitude 8-In-1 Premium Graphite Coated Wiper Blade - 18" or PIAA 96045 Forza Hybrid 18" Silicone Wiper Blade. But if you're like my dad, then you will buy the cheapest blades, then change them as soon as they fall apart. Never mind that better made blades will wipe better and last longer. At $3 per blade, my dad likes these whenever they go on sale. Otherwise, we get the cheapest rubber blades we can from Wal*Mart. He does have a point. Why buy $30 blades, when you can buy 10 $3 blades? We just try to see the road through streaks and blurs on the windshield, and hope we don't hit anyone on the road.

Update: 9-17-09 To update that they do not wipe quietly and dance(jump) across the windshield on the upstroke. Not recommended.

These blades cross your windshield with same pleasant sound of a child dragging wet shoe soles across vinyl flooring. screak, screak, screak. They also lift off the windshield at speeds averaging 65 mph or greater leaving missed areas. I have tolerated these blades for about 1 month now hoping the noise would lessen or go away after a little break in. I say no more...to the trash they go. I rarely write reviews, but I hate to see others waste they hard earned money in these times.

Being a little tiny bit obsessive about my car, one of the things I can NOT tolerate is a chattering, noisy, smeary, streaky wiper blade. Driving in the rain is hard enough without feeling like you're trying to look through a wax-paper windshield.
In the past, I'd put new wiper blades on my car two or three times a year and sometimes more, just to make sure I never had to deal with wiper smear or worse, wiper chatter. That sound is like fingernails on a blackboard to me!!
I'd also clean the rubber edge several times between blade changes, to keep the leading edge clean and free from debris and gooey tree gunk and junk. Due to my desire to keep the finest quality blades on the car, I'd only buy authentic Toyota blades for my 2003 Camry and then one day...
An associate at the local Toyota dealer talked me into buying the rubber inserts for the blades, rather than the whole blade assembly. For 20 minutes, I waited and watched as she fiddled around trying desperately to get the inserts into the arm assembly. Two days later (and 10 minutes of use later), while driving in a light rain storm, the whole thing came apart in pieces, scratching my windshield in the process. It was a Sunday afternoon (dealer was closed), so I drove directly to the auto parts store and told them I wanted the most expensive wiper-blade they sold. They took me to the Bosch Icon and said, "these are the best, but they're pricey."
I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and performance of this product. The two blades I bought for Cammie cost less than $50 which isn't THAT much contrasted against the frustration of not being able to see clearly through the windshield when it rains.
April 2008 UPDATE: I am on my second pair of Bosch Icons and I'm saddened to say that I am no longer "raving" about these things. While they're just swell for the first 60 days, they deteriorate quickly after that and become streaky and smeary. When I was buying wiper blades for my daughter's car, I asked the auto parts guy about the Bosch Icon. He replied, "I'm not that impressed with them either. They don't last long."

It impacts the top seal of the rear window when it is in use, leaving an area that is not wiped. I guess I need a 14 inch wiper instead. It would be nice if tools actually worked.

I live in Florida and we get rain often and twice on both blades I have had to slide the wiper blade back into it's carrier. No big deal, they are too large to fly off unless you leave them unattended for too long. They slide out slowly so when it stops raining you just push them back in. Annoying but again, they are cheap and they do keep water off the windshield.
