(More customer reviews)The Rain-X Latitude wipers are my favorite wiper blades. When the Repel came out, I decided to give them a try. In spite of thoroughly cleaning the windows and carefully following the "activation" directions, the windows do not act as if I had applied a layer of the classic Rain-X fluid. It isn't as if these are "bad" wipers, they only work as good as the Latitude do for twice the price without any advantage.

K&N HP-7011 Oil Filter Review

(More customer reviews)I've been changing my own oil on my Porsche for 10 years. I don't feel this item is constructed as good as the OEM/Mahle, but it does appear adequate. In the future, if convenient, I will try to get OEM ones from Porsche online dealers such as Sunset in Oregon. This item, as pictured, does come with an O-ring, which seems to fit comparable to OEM. I will update if I encounter any issues, but I doubt there will be any.
What Amazon offers is a real convenience over getting one from your local "stealer". Additionally, Amazon has a broad selection of quality synthetic oils available for delivery, further increasing the convenience. Since I am a PRIME member, I can basically get a DIY oil-change kit in 2 days without any hassle. This is probably worth an extra star.
One final note is that I would order the oil and filter separately. Amazon often has terrible packing of heavy and light items together. In this case, the oil filter even shipped separately in its own flimsy wrap-around box, which was crushed. The K&N box was also squashed, but the filter appeared to be OK. Amazon shipping was probably thinking this was a steel-can oil filter. So, I took back that extra star for packaging.

(More customer reviews)This product is straight forward easy to install as advertised. My roof rails are foolishly body colored rather than something more wear forgiving. The soft rubber mounts allow for tight installation and full removal with no marks left or paint abrasion.
The weight gives you confidence that it'll take the load. This sucker is solid.
If I had one gripe it would be that the gear for tightening/loosening requires too many turns.
If I needed a second set, I would not hesitate to buy another set.

(More customer reviews)This product is advertised online as "Chevy Tahoe and Travel Trailer," but there are no markings on the box or the toy auto to identify it as a Chevy Tahoe. In fact, the shipping receipt just "SUV and Travel Trailer." The toy auto is marked "Cayenne" on the front and the back. I believe that Cayenne is a Porsche SUV. The whole idea of purchasing this product was to get a Chevy Tahoe. I was sent a replacement and it turned out to be the same wrong item. I am now having to do another return. Amazon needs to change the description on this item if they do not have the one they say they do. If people are looking for a Chevy Tahoe, they are not going to get it!

ATE Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid Dot 4 Review

(More customer reviews)Most brake fluids are DOT 3 - good enough for the street and normal driving (if there is such a thing). If, however, you run your car at high speed events like your Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, etc., club track days, DOT 3 just won't cut it.
DOT 4 grade brake fluid has a higher boiling point so it helps prevent bubbles forming in the caliper at high disc brake temperatires. When you're really hammering the brakes (braking from triple digit speeds lap after lap) the heat in the disc and caliper can get so high that it can cause the fluid to boil and at best, give a spongy brake pedal feel. At worst, your brakes can go away completely (that's change your shorts time!). ATE makes a good quality product. They make brake components (e.g., calipers) so they really know what works.
I (and many of my track-junkie friends) have been using this fluid with good luck for years in our German cars. Also important, it has never damaged the seals (I am told that it can happen with some products). Change your brake fluid at least once a year and bleed it before every track event for maximum safety.
NOTE: ATE makes a blue fluid and a gold fluid (identical except for color) so that you can see when the fresh fluid reaches the caliper when you flush your brake system.

The chargers are weatherproof, and you can permanently mount them in the engine compartment with the provided ring terminals, or just use the alligator clips.
The charger has a battery status indicator (low / full), and settings for Motorcycle, Car, or Gel battery. The charger cycles from trickle current, to pulses, and shuts off when the battery is full. There is no better charger for winter storage battery tending, bringing nearly dead batteries back to life, or just recharging boat batteries slowly overnight.
Finally, I should mention that the current version of the 3300 has some improvements over the already excellent older version (I now have one of each). The latest version includes:
- Heavier gauge wiring
- Much heavier and more durable alligator clips
- A nice zip-up storage case

(More customer reviews)These wipers are fantastic in the rain, especially when brand new. They do not squeak or smear while removing all water from your windshield.
In the snow, they are not that bad, if you park your car in a garage anyway. The problem with these blades is that they do not hold up well in cold weather, especially when coated with snow and ice.
I've had these blades on my Blazer for about 7 months, and during the fall they were great. Once the bad weather started to come (Buffalo, NY) the snow and ice began to build up on the blades while parked outside. The design of these blades includes plastic end caps that keep the main blade strip from moving. But when water has collected inside the cap and it freezes, the expanded ice loosens the cap and it eventually falls off. After that, the blade will slowly ease its way out from the holder slot. If you do not slide it back right away (every day or during the drive) it will ruin the blade when it wipes. This results in the wiper not being able to get a clean wipe in thick snows or sleet on both strokes. I regularly get a big wet icy patch in the middle of my windshield due to this.
I have been looking for the perfect winter wipers for a long time, and these are not them.
