(More customer reviews)This product is solidly constructed and comes with large universal side mirror pockets. Heavyweight material (check the Covercraft website for properties of Technalon) -- and the four year warranty is reassuring.
Nice and snug around the vehicle, covering the outboard spare tire as well. Had considered an expensive custom cover, but this works just fine.
Does not come with a grommet for antennas, even though customer service from Covercraft said it did. The RAV4 has a small rear deck antenna. I'll place a plastic cone over it so I won't have to put a hole in the car cover, and the antenna won't be bent after the cover comes off.
The color is a very light tan; I would have liked a slightly deeper tan but lighter does reflect sunlight better than darker.
All in all, well worth the money and an excellent alternative to a custom cover that easily costs 2X.

(More customer reviews)First of all there are No cuts for the mirrors in this cover! Its just like a giant tarp that is tight across the bottom. It doesn't fully fit a 97 2 door civic. Pretty much the whole bottom of the car is showing including half of the back bumper. Material is just OK. Don't know how long it will last in the desert sun. Won't buy this cover again.

Nevertheless, it did fit properly. It was advertised as a light weight dust cover for a reasonable price, and that is what I got.

(More customer reviews)I tried really hard with this product, but I cannot recommend it for anyone. It won't stay on your car, it won't protect against moisture and it doesn't keep out the sun's rays or heat.
I tied it on multiple ways, I used a variety of weights, and I went outside whenever I could, as many as five times a day, to put it back on after it blew off. But even though I live in a city with calm winds most of the year, this car cover would blow off every single day.
It is not a custom fit, of course, but my car's length fit squarely in the targeted range. No matter -- it would come off under any and all circumstances.
I live in one of hottest places in America and I bought this car cover not to protect against rain as much as to protect against dirt and sun. If the car interior was 130 degrees without the cover, it was 120 with it -- it simply didn't do anything to cool things down. A 10-dollar windshield sun shade effects a greater cooling influence on a car than this car cover, even when it stays on. It's just too thin. And all the blowing off meant dirt still got on my car, and it was a disaster in the rain, just making things worse and trapping moisture against the car.
I guess this product would be okay to use in a garage only if your car has a boxy profile; a smoother profile will lead to constant slippage.
