(More customer reviews)I purchased this set of caps because they were metal and a similar product was for sale but make of plastic. Unfortunatly, unless you view the logo straight on, as shown in the illustration, it is not recognizeable as anything but a yellow smudge.
Also, the logo appears to be a spongey plastic sticker, which I do not believe will last very long and most certainly will cloud over after being exposed to the weather.
The caps appear to be of good quality however and chromed metal.

(More customer reviews)According to the other reviewer, these valve covers are made of plastic. That solves a problem for me and I'll buy them. Recent Porsches have TPMS, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Steel valve caps interfere with transmissions from the pressure sensor in the wheel, so the owner's manual warns explicitly against their use. Plastic caps will do just fine.
I may come back and change my review to a five or a three after I use them for a while, but being made of plastic is not a deficiency, it's the only kind we can use on our cars.
