(More customer reviews)My car was stolen with this device properly attached. When I retrieved the car, the busted AutoLock was waiting for me on my front seat. The AutoLock's shorter metal "arm" was bent out of the way (separated from the rest of the Autolock by about an inch), and the brake pedal face bent slightly, enabling the AutoLock to slip off the brake. From articles I've read about the AutoLock on the Internet, it's length is a major weakness: it can be used as leverage to bend the (relatively) weak metal arm and disable it. Either that happened, or a crowbar was used to bend it.
Bottom line: don't rely 100% on this device to protect your car. Nothing can do that. It is only a deterrent, just like the Club, and will not prevent a determined thief from taking your car. However, realizing the flaws of the AutoLock, I can say that now I own and use BOTH the Club and Autolock, and just hope that the work to disable this tandem is enough to discourage the next would-be thief.

I drive a Porsche Boxster S and ES doesn't list bushings for my car so I had to measure and figure it out on my own. They work great. I've had 3 different cars with ES bushings and I swear by them as one of the nicest bang-for-buck you can do to your car. This really does tighten up the suspension on any car and will last for the LIFE of your car. Cheap rubber bushings that come stock do indeed degrade over time and don't hold your suspension pieces where they're supposed to be which doesn't allow them to properly do their job.

(More customer reviews)The new containers of Castrol GTLMA state in large letters that it is SYNTHETIC BRAKE FLUID; I about 'died' when I saw that AFTER replacing all the real DOT 5 fluid in my British car; could just see the seals in the new servo ($400.) going bad. Then I find out that is is not really SYNTHETIC [no where on the container is DOT 5 listed].
Point is: why say it is Synthetic when it is not; most people do not want synthetic and synthetic will not mix with DOT3/4.
Think it is causing customer loss; I had to go to 7 auto parts stores before I found it.
a crazy crazy world; it is most likely the same old LMA brake fluid--I sure hope so.

My S2000 is my every day driver and it has to be parked in the sun all day at work, and my apartment has uncovered spaces. With this cover it genuinely is virtually heat free when I get it. Granted it doesn't protect the paint, however the paint can take the heat a lot better than the vinyl top can. Getting it on and off the first few times is a little tricky, but once you've got the routine down, pretty simple. Definitely recommend this product!

I clean my car almost weekly and the front wheels take a lot of work. The only advantage to this wheel cleaner is that it is safe on all types of wheels, but there are other products, such as Mothers FX wheel cleaner, that also claim to be safe on all wheels and does a much much better job removing brake dust.

I use the mini duster on my motorcycle, then hit it with spray detailer and a microfiber brush and it looks newly waxed. I like the dashboard duster too. This one isn't very springy when tightening the compressor down on a piston it doesn't stretch out a little like it should. It came shipped to me with most of the wavy/wrinkley part flattened out, it still works just doesn't spring back to its original shape like I think it should.

Corrosion Technologies Rejex 16OZ Car Wax Review

(More customer reviews)Last night I coated my new car with Rejex. It's now at the end of the twelve hour "curing" stage so I thought I'd leave some comments to help people shopping for sealants.
I have zero experience finishing cars. I've always been against the idea of babying a vehicle, but my car is so spanking new that I figure it wouldn't hurt to give the paint some protection and find a way to make all that fresh brake dust easier to swab off on a weekly basis. Rejex seems like stuff that might accomplish these goals.
The car looks great, all the surfaces and angles delineated to full effect. I wouldn't describe the shine as showcar-deep, and wouldn't want it that "wet" anyway, but it's definitely glossier than it was on the car's arrival three weeks ago. I still can't comment on Rejex's durability or how well it protects against bugs and streetcrap; others on the internet have reviewed those traits and I'll chime in as time goes on.
I cleaned the car in detail yesterday and let it hang to dry in the garage for four hours to drain all the cracks. Then I waited for the sun to stop beating on the garage door as the instructions say not to apply in temps over 85 degrees. That evening I swabbed Rejex all over the car with cotton wax applicator pads. I think I might've slathered it on a bit thick because it took a while to dry to the prescribed haze. Once it did, I started wiping it off with soft cotton rags. Sometimes as I was wiping, little areas of sticky residue collected and needed extra elbow grease. Like I say, I might have done something wrong, but the process wasn't as easy as I'd heard. From initial application to final wipedown took about three and a half hours, with the wife grabbing a second towel for a half an hour out of pity.
If I had it to do again I'd maybe put a little less on and extend the drying time. This might lead to a slightly chalkier dried consistency which would cut down on the buffing away of accumulated wax. As it was, I used up about a half a bottle and a few yards of cotton cloth. I also scraped excess out of cracks with Q-Tip type things, which was tedium I probably brought on myself. Next time I'll put it on lighter.
The interesting part of this story will be in a few weeks when we see how water is beading and bugkill is wiping off. But for now, I recommend Rejex with the proviso that it's not as easy a job as some in internet newsgroups make it sound, but it does make the car look great.
