(More customer reviews)First of all there are No cuts for the mirrors in this cover! Its just like a giant tarp that is tight across the bottom. It doesn't fully fit a 97 2 door civic. Pretty much the whole bottom of the car is showing including half of the back bumper. Material is just OK. Don't know how long it will last in the desert sun. Won't buy this cover again.

(More customer reviews)Bought one of these from ready-fit covers to share between an 1992 318is and a 1998 BMW sedan. Both were listed as using the same model of cover. Its too short and too narrow for both cars especially the sedan. They did not take in consideration that the mirrors lift the sides up a few inches since the readyfit do not have mirror pockets. All cars have side mirrors. Mine are not foldable as I assume most cars aren't. In the back its too short by about 3 inches on the coupe and a good 6 inches on the sedan. I contacted the customer service lady at autoanything and she contacted the manufacturer who did absolutely nothing to help me. Heck I would have even considered credit towards a custom fit but that evidently is not their policy. So Im stuck with a medocre cover that was listed as fitting both vehicles. Oh and I think the covers are all made in China. Maybe I should have given it zero stars.

I had to return this item after learning finally, after the fact, that the vacuum cannister requires 7 mmHg of ported vacuum or more to operate the advance. Unfortunately my dual Weber IDF 40 set up on my 2.0 L type IV VW bus engine pulls only 5-6mmHg of max ported vacuum, just not enough. Adjusting the adjustable cannister advance will not compensate for the need of 7 mmHg minimum. The stats are not easy to find, it took more than one phone call to Mallory to get someone there knowledgeable in this detail. Amazon is to be commended on their prompt and easy / no hassle refund to include even shipping... of course I never installed the unit on the engine, just applied vacuum to cannister as noted above inline with vacuum gauge in order to figure this out. If you can pull 7 mmHg or greater of ported vacuum on your set up then you are in business. Thanks Amazon for not leaving me stuck with a relatively expensive component I really couldn't use. Hopefully this info I am providing here will assist other potential buyers in determining if they should buy this distributor for their application or not.

I will not buy them again, and would recommend against anyone purchasing these.

(More customer reviews)I have an older Peloton (517) but bought two of the Echelon (518) and really enjoy the difference in quality and ease of use. The head is heavy and sturdy and the locks are easier to reach. Actually, everything else (the tire tray) is about the same as the Peloton - it is the head and the mounting bracket that make them different. The bracket is also extremly solid, securing the carrier completely across the base of the head. The Peloton has more of a U-bolt type of bracket and it always makes me feel as if the bike could wobble a bit at high speed.
I am a faithful Prime member and truly buy most everything from Amazon, including expensive cameras and tools. But for some reason I actually had a couple of returns with this product. I had ordered another Peloton first, but it came with a bolt that was not threaded properly, so I returned it and got an Echelon but it had scratches on the tray, so I returned that also and got the two Echelons at East Providence Cycle, my local bike shop.
Let me also add that no store is more accomodating with returns than Amazon. I am always confident in my purchases that they will be stressfree that way.

These blades cross your windshield with same pleasant sound of a child dragging wet shoe soles across vinyl flooring. screak, screak, screak. They also lift off the windshield at speeds averaging 65 mph or greater leaving missed areas. I have tolerated these blades for about 1 month now hoping the noise would lessen or go away after a little break in. I say no more...to the trash they go. I rarely write reviews, but I hate to see others waste they hard earned money in these times.

Tridon LF12-K Flasher Review

Easy to install 2 wires. It took me about half an hour to install in my Yamaha Majesty with all the work involved to get to the flasher, but it should take a lot less time if you have easy access to the flasher. The rate of flashing is reasonable, and it is rated at 20 Amps, which means it can handle a trailer too. However, the sound is not really as loud as I like it to be, with road and wind noise on a motorcycle, you need a louder one, it may be loud enough for automobile with windows closed. I think I should go with the automatic cancelling flasher.

After reading Consumer Reports' review from December 2006, I now see why. They found no noticable driving improvement by using these bulbs and they tend to burn out too quickly. I see gimickry all thru the auto headlight bulb market!
Consumer Reports recommomended the standard halogen bulbs.

(More customer reviews)Bought this for a Windstar that had a ruptured boot. The old one came right off and this particular model is designed to fit on various sized CV joints. You simply cut the part thats larger off. Installation was easy enough, until you get to the clamps. They use a professional clamp that requires a clamp tool to utilize. I would recommend throwing them in the trash and either using the black UV resistant zip ties (larger ones) or traditional metal hose clamps. The clamps that come with it are absolutely useless if you don't have a special tool.
That being said, the boot is very good. The rubber is not terribly stiff and did not appear to be cracked/dried out. I expect to get several years out of this repair.
