(No expert here) This filter was designed for the Ford Mustang 5.0, but it will fit many other motors. The main issue is available space for this extra long filter with the benefit of added filtration media. Widely used in Chrysler Jeep motors: 4.0L/242cid I6; 5.2L/318cid V8; and others. Check the Wix website to compare O-ring dimensions and thread count, then determine if the length will fit within your application. I find this filter is less expensive and more readily available than the filter made for my Jeep ZJ. Back into the above image link for a detailed review of the major filter brands.
